A perfect family retreat! On our third visit to Gregoire's Castle, we enjoyed the many venues within the Castle and the grounds of the Castle. Walking and exploring the grounds and the lovely venues to sit and relax, read a book, enjoy a fire pit and viewing the stars by the pond, getting relax time in the spa, cooking some great steaks on the grill and enjoying nature that surrounded us. Indoors: each room holds fascinating items to look at; the kitchen makes meal preparation easy, the dining room and seating areas offer places to gather as a family for meals or to watch a movie or game looking out on the side of the house with the pond as the the morning and afternoon the sun streams in, or you get to view the first snow of the season!! The game room in the basement is a great space to challenge family to shuffle board, darts or Foosball matches. If you are lucky enough to have a musician in your family the baby grand piano in the great room is a terrific place to gather.

We just returned from an incredible family vacation at the castle in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and it was truly magical! The castle itself is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The architecture, with its stone walls, towers, and grand rooms, made us feel like we were stepping back in time, while still enjoying all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is stunning – set amidst the beautiful Vermont landscape, we were surrounded by lush forests and scenic views. It was a peaceful and private retreat, yet close enough to explore the local towns and outdoor activities. Our family loved playing in the expansive grounds, and we spent our evenings enjoying the cozy fireplaces and watching the northern lights! The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, ensuring that every detail was perfect for our stay. We felt truly welcomed and would highly recommend this unique experience to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Heaven truly is a place on Earth. (Or should I say a palace?) There are no words to perfectly describe our stay at the Irasburg Castle, but I will brag about it none the less. Amazing. Private. Beautiful. Fairy land. Romantic. Book It Now. My partner and I are not rich people. We live in a trailer with our two cats and work very hard to live out our middle class lives. To no one's surprise, we recently learned how draining planning a wedding can be, and how ironically little time it gave us to be together. Other than taking each other's hand, this was by far one of our best decisions as a couple yet! Picnics on the property, cool morning soaks in the hottub, cooking dinner to eat by fire light... not to mention how gorgeous the outside is lit up at night, we definitely have full motivation to fill the piggy bank again.
